Recipe : Boil the Dal with salt and turmeric in 4 cups of water. Cover and simmer till the Dal is mashed and Strain it through a fine cloth in a seperate vessel. Remove the Dal collected in the cloth. Heat the oil in a vessel, add Musturd, Cumin seeds, Green Chillies, Red Chillies, Ginger Paste, 3tbsp MILAN RASAM POWDER and saute over medium heat. Add Tomato pieces, Chilli Powder and Tomato Puree. Add 1/4 tbsp. Chilly Powder. stir well. Add a pinch of Asafoetida, 1/2tbsp, Semi-crushed Pepper Corns and salt to taste. Transfer the strained Dal and Tamarind pulp to vessel and add 3-4 cups of water. Add some coriander leaves and bring to boil. Serve Hot.
