Recipe : Ingredients : Dried Fenugreek Leaves Methi Malai Mutter is a popular Punjabi Dish Usually served with Rotis, Parathas or Plain rice. This rice North Indian Delicacy is best prepared using Milan Kasoori Methi.
Requirements: (Serve 4) 2 Cups water, 2-3 Green CHillies, 1 white Onion, 1/2 Ginger, 2tbsp Thich Malai, 1 tsp Sugar, 3 tsp Crushed Cashews nuts, 1tsp Khuskhus, 200gms Boiled Green Peas, 2 tbsp Ghee 100 gms. Cream. Salt, 5gms Milan KASoori Methi.
Method: Soak 1/5 of the contents of the Milan Kasoori Methi Pack in 2 cups of water and heat for 5 mins. Paste 1 - Grind 2-3 Green Chillies, 1 White Onion and 1/2 Ginger Paste 2 - Mix 2 tbsp. thick Malai, 1 tbsp Crushed Cashews nuts and 1 tsp Sugar. Paste 3 - Grind 2 tsp. Cashew Nuts, 1 tsp, KhusKhus. In a frying pan heat 2 tbsp Ghee Add Paste1 and heat for 2 mins. Then add Paste 2 to it Add Cream to the Mixture. Add Paste 3 to the Preparation Add Green Peas and Salt to taste Simmer for 10 mins. Then add the soaked Methi and Cook for another 2-3 mins. The Methi Malai Mutter is ready to be served.
