Chhole Masala


Patialashahi is delicious Punjabi Mutton Gravy. It tastes best when prepared with MILAN MEAT MASALA and served with Biryani and Raita or Tandoori Roti.


Requirements: 1.2 Kg Mutton, 2/3 cup Ghee, 1/2 cups chopped Onion, Salt to taste, 4 tsp. Ginger/Garlic paste, 1/2 tsp. Turmeric, 2tsp. cumin Powder, 4 whole Red chillies, 2 Tomatoes, 1/2 cup Coriander leaves, 3 tsp. MILAN MEAT MASALA.

Clean and cut Mutton into 1 inch chunks. Heat the Ghee in a Handi, add Mutton Pieces, Chopped Onion salt. Saute over low heat till light brown. Add Ginger/Garlic Paste, saute for another 8-10 mins. Add 3 tsp. Milan Meat Masala. Stir well. Add 2-3 Cups water. cover and simmers till the mutton is tender. Transfer the mutton chunks into another vessel. And Red Chillies and Turmeric to the gravy. Stir well. Add tomatoes, 1/2 cup water and Simmer for 5 mins. Add cumin Powder and stir for a minute. Garnish with Coriander leaves. Serve hot.
