Chhole Masala


Chilli, coriander, garlic, cumin, cassia, bay leaves, mustard, black pepper, salt, cloves, blackcardamom, turmeric, star anise, nutmeg..
Chicken gravy is delicious dish. It tested best when prepared with Milan Chicken Masala, and served with biryani and raita and tandoori roti.


Before you begin: 500 g chicken, cut in 1 inch pieces, 3 tsp ginger,/ garlic paste ,1/2 tsp, milan turmeric powder, 6 medium chopped onion, 50 g dry coconut grated,, 75 g tomato puree,3 tsp milan chilli powder, two and half tbsp milan chicken masala, 3 cup water, 4 tbsp,oil, frsh coriander leaves, salt to taste.


Marinate chicken with turmeric powder,and 2 tsp ginger – garlic paste , keep aside for 15 min. heat 2 tbsp. oil in pan,saute chopped onions till golden brown, dry roast,the grated coconut and make a paste of ½ cup of water. Heat oil in a pan, saute ginger-garlic paste for a minute. Add tomato puree and cook for 2-3 minutes, or till the oil oozes out. Add onion – coconut paste and saute for 4-5 minutes, till oil oozes out. Add milan chicken masala, chilli powder, salt, chicken and saute for a minute. Add water and cook for 15-20 min.or till chicken is tender, garnish with fresh coriander leaves and served hot with biryani and raita or tandori roti.
